not many thought that she would ever see him again…. none of us actually …. we all believed that she had walked away for good… leaving behind all the glorious memories she always spoke about….. or may be those were just some average memories which she glorified…..

none of us liked him …. he wasn’t prince charming in exact terms ….. was of the same height she was and spoke the same language she did ………. but then again there was something that she found extremely attractive about him… may be the way he made her feel ….. the way he would listen to her………. or i think i remember she telling us ” he lived his life like a wild horse” no strings attached and that was one thing she always wanted to learn from him …………… i guess his dis attachment is what made her attach herself to him………

 funny how love turns out

i remember the first time they met was in the office …………… she had not noticed him ….. took him to be just another guy in the building……… to my understanding she was still getting over her first break up…. rather serious phase in life where she was very very naive and hurt………. pulling strings together and pretending to be normal…… in a couple of months they met at company ball………. he took her to the ball with two other girls one she remembers one she doesn’t……….. that night he told her he was as afraid to walk the path of love again as she was and they could walk it together side by side without being scared………….. 

she doesn’t know what happened but she agreed….. lost her earring in his car without even her first kiss with him…….funny ….. she still has the other one….. the one that was left with her…….. so she agreed …… a few more days in office and he flew to Canada for the transition he was meant to do …….. and never really came back

when he came back post three months he told her she wasn’t the one………. no explanations no reasons………. she asked and asked and then there was silence…… long pause………. her worst fears her dreams her walking side by side without being scared all in bin

we knew this would happen …………. we never really trusted him with her………… we had in fact warned her a 1000 times but ……….. nah……… if love was so easy to live with we all would have been snow whites ………….

she changed the job and eventually the city……….. she move on with her life……… physically ……….. the more she went ahead in her life the more she became sure that she loved him with all her heart and yearned to know if there was a small piece of time where he loved her for more than just the chemistry they shared…..

i think it must have been 6/7 years odd when he sent a message to her on linkedin…. wondering how she was ?

the history they say repeats more often than we think …. she replied and then started a whole new phase of meeting and seeing each other……… but in the years that had passed she had a family of her own and so dd he….. funny he settled for the most sweet bitch……… we all call her that… she was the reason why he left her……… neway…….. so meetings / communication wasn’t as easy as it use to be and ……………..

but she still had the question ….. the same one ……… did he ever loved her for a second for what she was or was it just the chemistry they shared……… well by now he had his ways of life as well the answer to this question was very candid and clear… he either loved everyone or no one but he sure came back for chemistry that was unmatched……….. crude as it may sound she heard this over and over again much to believe that all that ever worked between them was the chemistry which the hormones in her mistook for feelings which never existed

last i spoke to her ………. she was certain that she still admired the way he lived even after having a wife the same old wild horse …….. envious may be ……… but she still had the fond memories…….. and with certain certainty’s she manage to forget and block the memories of him walking out on her and forgive him every time he behaved to his will hurting her all the time…….. he knew how to play…….. he was too good at it and secretly she wished she could be that detached and learn either love all or no one………….

its been 13 years since they know each other and we know them and i guess it must have been 2 years since they last spoke……. i know that coz i am the shoulder she always cries on ……… she seemed very stable and off him for some years now……… and she met him yesterday…..
