write a scene that takes place immediately after a tragedy. Don’t mention the tragedy..

she sat there on the sofa, shoulders dropped, eyes wide open staring at nothingness, still as stone.. comprehending the events that had unfolded in 

past two months was not possible and imagining the string of events that were to follow was beyond her scope..

the thoughts that messed around with her brains at lights speed had left her alone and her over active mind was suddenly too numb for her to bear, she could have screamed aloud but sound didn’t seem to make it to the surface, she could have sobbed and shaken and walked out and let herself go but she just was still… voluntary movements were at a still…

she still doesn’t really know how long it has been, she sitting on the sofa that still, she notices the movement around, s

he sees her family work around her, she just wants to freeze in time, to be there forever ever more…

Suddenly she feels someone sit next to her, his soft touch always works wonders, he comes close and snuggles around, nudging her to move and making sure she knows she is not alone…

Her trance breaks and she  looks at him and for no apparent reason a subtle smile appears on her face, she puts her arm around him and brushes himself against him. she knows he is there for at least sometime more till the destiny plays the same dirty trick again, but till then he is there, right next to her, through thick and thin, unconditional, biased to her every decision, to fight with her every worldly war she intends to take him to… his warm eyes are always very reassuring. She gets up, walks back to her bedroom, unnoticed, unquestioned by anyone around,  entering her own world, he follows, she stares back and he stops at the door…. she closes the dark wooden door behind her… only to emerge, dressed for another routine task….

Earphones playing music, enough to numb her brain and block out all the active thought that now plan to awake, her hair tied high up in pony, dressed in latest fashion she wears her sketches, and heads to the door… he still awaits for her patiently… she picks up the belt and heads out to break yet another record….
